"There were many factors that led me to develop the 'OurBrum' site. As a proud (adopted) Brummie I've been inspired by the passion expressed for our city by other people, including Carl Chinn & my ex-boss Peter Donnelly. I also had a need for a web resource featuring free entertainment and couldn't find one. My desire for a home page containing local links that didn't assault my eyes with irrelevant guff & celebrity twaddle was also a driving factor. I think everyone deserves a place on the web to tell others how they are enjoying their life as a Brummie so here it is, make use and enjoy!"
